We, Sky Swallows Challenger stand for the world wide extension project, derived from the local performing romanian rock band, called Halat Alb. We claim us as experiencing the alternative rock area, founded or continued by names as Nirvana, Foo Fighters or Bush, but it is so much more than that.
Talking about the band's roots, we need to go back in time, 1995, when we first started to express our life experience through the "allmighty-sir-music", that very first step is Hyperion, which starts out as a high school band in Sighetu Marmatiei, Romania.
Despite all kind of changes, the structure of the band keeps the same three people even today, we, the ones who are most connected in the way we see and feel music:

The band starts to work in the summer of 2005, after a long pause of around 4 years, and comes up with three songs. At the end of January 2006, we record these songs, and include them on our first demo-mini-album (Demmo 2006):

As the time goes by, our maturity in tunes composition and technical skills increase (at least we like to consider it so), as a result we come up with our first major release (Endorphin EP 2009), recorded in the spring of this year. The album consists of three complex, some might say weird for an alternative band and quite different tracks (as the feeling-philosophy):

In the same time, a major turnaround comes along, maybe the smartest one, we switch lyrics to english exclusively, even translate the romanian ones, 'cause we feel our message should be universal and this way we can share our experience to the outter world in a more professional and comprehensive manner. As about the lyrics, they cover areas from philosophical to social and abstract cuteness. There is also a good and old friend of the band, Norbert Petrovici, which helps with the lyrics, coming up especially with social messages.
All this time, we join live acts on different stages in Romania, events or festivals, such as: NOMFest, CokeLive, EastWestFest, Antidepressive Tour, in more or less important cities across the country: Cluj-Napoca, Bucharest, Brasov, Baia-Mare, Satu-Mare, Sighet.
